There's been one trick that I've learned over the years that I try to apply in any networking situation that I'm in. Anytime I'm talking to someone who knows more than me in a particular area, I try to take in more data then I give. In other words, I shut the heck up and listen. Be humble, and like one of my mentors told me, "Know who's in the room." If you're always talking when smart people are around then you will always leave the room with the same knowledge you had coming in... Don't make that mistake
